Pink Funky Bubbles Napkin RingsSet of two very unique napkin rings. The base for these has been upcycled but the polymer clay is an original design by me. These are one of a kind napkin rings The rings measure 4cm in diameter and are decorated with beautiful slices of millefiori cane of my own design.

Butterfly Millefiori bead braceletPretty bracelet hand made using original polymer clay beads. Beads were also made by myself and have a butterly image on each with a lavendar, green and white background.

Beads measure roughly 1/2" square (1cm) and are unvarnished. Being hand made means that there may be very slight differences between beads, each one is unique (not in style, colour or size).

Bracelet measures 8" long (21cm) and an extra length of vinyl cord has been left at the loop end for adjustment. It would be easy to undo the loop knot and take off some beads to adjust this bracelet for your own wrist. There are 12 butterfly beads in total.

My First Polymer Clay FigureHi , I Think I overcooked him A bit !
This is my first polymer clay Figure, though I have been making Cakes & Sugar Paste figures for years. I like this little one so far still deciding how to dress him & what base he'll go on for display. Everyone who's seen him so far loves him...
Looking Forward to finishing him soon.

TRISTAN'S 21st BIRTHDAY Dragon Cake With 3 Polymer FiguresHi, Thanks For Looking,
I'll Add More Pics I Have On How These Where Made But THis Is The Best Over All Pic Which I Blacked Out With "The Gimp"
The Dragon Is Mud Cake Sculpted In Chocolate Fudge Covered In Plastic Icing\Fondant. But The Reason It's Here Is The Three Polymer Figures, I Made A Florist Wire Armature & Coated It With Selleys Plastic Bond, Probably Not As Good AS The Plastic Putty I've Seen Others Use But It Did The Job, It Held The Armature Together & Made A Thicker Base To Work On Then Added Foil To Bulk Out The Heads Then Put On The Eyes (Marbles).
Now THe Fun Bit Just Model With The Sculpey. I Didn't Use Any Reference As I Don't Want To Copy Anyone But THe Frouds Are A Big Favorite Of Mine & I Watched "pans labyrinth" Before Deciding The Taller Faery\Fawn Would Look Better With Horns ! Where The Figures Have Feather Wool I Left The Armature Bare So I Could Pose\Balance Them Better When They're Finished As My First Falls On His Face... Tristan's Figure Is Only Hands Feet & Head The Rest Is Padded With Foam & String. The Eyes Were Pure White Marbles Painted After Baking With Acrylic Paint Then Sculpey Glaze...
The Clothes Were Just Cut Up & Glued On With Clear Craft Glue As Was THe Feather Wool Hair.
PS. I Don't Do Cakes To Order Anymore, I Did That For 7 Years.
I Have Two Jobs & I'm Looking Forward To Making More Polymer Clay Figures In My Spare Time & Maybe Selling Them After A Bit Of Practice....
But Mostly I Just Like Making Something In The Best Medium I've Found.

Kaleidoscope TMy kaleidoscopes are pieces of art. They are full sized and functional, but not designed for children to play with. They are things of beauty. The outsides are dimensional and have polymer clay as a base with fresh water pearls, Swarovski crystals, rhinestones, semi- precious stones, cz's, brass eyepieces and rings. The inside viewing chamber is created using similar elements so the colors on the inside are similar to those on the outside.

Father CallahanFather Paddy's, head and hands are hand-sculpted polymer clay over a wire armature. No molds were used. He is absolutely one of a kind.

Oddly enough, this sculpt started as a pair of legs. I was learning a technique new wire foot and leg armature and the feet and legs were turning out very shapely so I wanted to complete the doll. I thought the doll would be a “High-heeled Liberace” and did tons of research on 16th and 17th century costumes. It was very strange working from the legs up.

It wasn't until Good Friday morning that I woke up and knew exactly who he wanted to be. Father Paddy O’Callahan had found his calling.

Once the clay pieces are properly baked, an armature was created to match the legs, and then the body and arms were wrapped with polyfil and a skin sewn on. His skin was given a wash of color, enhancing the wrinkle and aging detail. His hair is made with wool roving and was very carefully applied to eyebrows, lashes and the back of his head.
His eyes were meticulously painted with acrylics and glazed. Father Paddy will have shoes before I sell him and will also be fixed to a simple dark wood base. He's larger than I usually work and stands about 19" tall.

Pictures of how I work are available on my web site www.angelfire.com/oz/littlebitwired
or google littlebitwired
to see more photos and see what I’m currently working on.

pugeon-xbox.jpg
North American PugeonHere we have the elusive North American Pugeon.

Typically found beneath beds, couches, or dressers. Really, under any heavy furniture that is rarely moved. This is because these places provide an abundant source of dust bunnies, their main food source. As such, larger populations can be found in college dorm rooms or other residences with poor upkeep.

This particular Pugeon however recently had its habitat destroyed by an over zealous cleaning spree. He has managed to adapt to a new living environment and diet change. His habits remain nocturnal and has quickly laid territorial claims to the Xbox 360 since the release of GTAIV and the local supply of Red Bull.

Made of polymer clay, acrylic paints. Body is tea stained faux fur stuffed with poly fiber fill and weighted with glass beads.

Spent a lot of time learning new things with this guy. First time I've ever sewn a "stuffed animal" body. Might just make more species like this.

The name came from the fact that it looks like a cross between a Chinese Pug(dog) and a Pigeon.
rune-fairy-aithne.jpg
Aithne, the Rune FairyMay I introduce you to Aithne, the rune fairy. She spends much of her time reading tea leaves, counting the hairs on spiders' backs and a hundred other means of divination.

Her real skill lies with the runes however and having her give you a reading with these stones is sure to bring you happier days and greater fortunes. Although I think that has less to do with "fate" and more to do with the fact she uses a "stacked deck".
